Red Dog continues to get rave reviews

451 recently debuted the newest title, Red Dog, with a motion graphic.

Social media responded well, with fans stating that Red Dog has great promise and comparing it to "Descender", the very successful sci-fi title from Image Comics.

All aspects of the book have been applauded, from characterization to artwork.

Comics Verse raved about the talent behind the book, saying, “this duo [Rob Cohen and Andi Ewington] manages to expertly balance world building and character set-up. The artwork is by artist Rob Atkins, who provides beautiful scenery in space and rugged buildings on the planet Kirawin. A superb first issue and a must read for any fans of the sci-fi genre.”

Comic Bastards gave the story a 5 out of 5, saying, “this issue sets up the series really well; it’s a good start, and you get a good idea of what you’re going to get from the rest of the series; I think you’ll dig it.”

Heroes Direct also loved the book, giving it praises for being, “a genuinely unique and intriguing tale” that is “influenced by classic science fiction films like Aliens, Starship Troopers and even Avatar in places."

Red Dog #1 hits stores and Comixology on 11/16/16.
